Completing those timed research tasks the, “Pokémon GO Halloween Event” will be unlocked and will feature Mega Gengar in Pokémon GO.

Apart from that, during the final week of the Pokémon GO Mega September Event, Pokémon will be able to retain their Mega forms for as long as 12 hours, instead of four. The Poffin duration will also be doubled, and the Field research will reward an increased amount of Mega Energy for Beedrill.
