We all are well aware of the fact that the PUBG Mobile developers team is actively working on the PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 Map. The upcoming map is yet to be released and PUBG Mobile players cannot keep calmer now. Although in a recent FAQ session with the developers, they stated that only after all the testing is thoroughly done and all the major bugs and glitches will be fixed, only then the Erangel 2.0 would be released for the smaller screen globally. Apart from this, another big news for all the PUBG fans is that Sanhok 2.0 has been teased officially and is going to release for the PC version of the game along with the Season 8. In this article, we will be talking about PUBG Mobile Sanhok 2.0, its features, map, changes, and the expected release date of Sanhok 2.0 for PUBG Mobile.
Introduction: PUBG Mobile Sanhok 2.0
PUBG Mobile updates are very unplanned and full of surprises. This fact has been proven with the surprise release of Miramar 2.0 recently. When almost every single PUBG Mobile player was waiting for the release of long-awaited Erangel 2.0, Tencent surprised everyone by releasing Miramar 2.0, instead of the Erangel 2.0. And, this might happen again, instead of releasing the upcoming Erangel map, Tencent might release updated Sanhok map for the mobile users. There are a few solid reasons why we think this might happen (see conclusion), and we might see the Sanhok 2.0 before the updated Erangel map.
Features: PUBG Mobile Sanhok 2.0
As per the official teasers, the new map in PUBG has enhanced graphical changes, structural modifications of some major areas, and a powerful new machine gun. We will talk about all these major aspects of Sanhok 2.0 map in detail to get an idea about what the mobile version of the map would look like after its release.
1. Bootcamp 2.0
Bootcamp is one of the two major hot drops in Sanhok for PUBG Mobile players. Ample loot and intense fights have made this location an arena of death. Only the best team gets out of here alive. Sanhok players are very well about major spots in Bootcamp such as where to hide, where to snipe from, etc. Especially the trenches make a great hiding spot for players who want to fall back. But, the updated version of Sanhok map would change all up. Bootcamp has been completely modified and redesigned in a symmetrical manner. Also, all the deep trenches have been filled out making the area even more challenging.
The Ruins is another area where players love to land. Being like a fort, this place is a great hideout and has some pretty good loot density. The Ruins, in the current version of Sanhok, is no more than a deserted broken structure with shallow water bodies surrounding the place. But, things are going to be upgraded with the new Sanhok map. The Ruins will be reconstructed in the form of a Thai Temple featuring high conical shaped buildings as seen in the screenshot.
3. Party Zone in Docks
The docks is one of the places in Shanhok with very high loot density and not many players take a drop at this location which is located at the dead-end of the map. In Sanhok 2.0, the docks will be turned into a Party Zone, as can be seen in the leaked screenshot. Some smaller buildings will be added to the docks area and the loot density will also be modified.
As could be seen in the screenshots of the Sanhok 2.0 Cave, it looks a bit different than the current cave present on the map. Apart from the colors and graphical enhancements, some minor structures have been added as well.
Ever stuck down the impossible to climb mountain in Sanhok? the answer would be Yes for many players who play Sanhok on a regular basis. These mountains in Sanhok is the highest area around the map and can be climbed only from one side. Many times the last circle ends on top of this mountain and due to this many players get stuck on the rocky side of it from where it is simply impossible to climb up the top. To fix this up, the updated version of Sanhok will add paths as seen in the attached screenshot, making players able to climb form all sides.
6. Pai Nan
Pain Nan is the nearby city to Bootcamp and many players take a drop here. The loot is quite good here and the interesting thing about this area is that it is divided into two equal parts by a water body. A couple of concrete bridges connect both the parts together. In the update, the size of the bridges might be increased and the water level will also rise.
New MG42 Machine Gun
PUBG Mobile has a record of releasing at least one new gun with the release of a new map. This avoids the players from getting bored and try out newer stuff. With the release of Sanhok version 2, we could also see a new machine gun named as MG42. Right now we do not have any naturally spawning machine gun in Sanhok. The only machine that we can use is obtained through the airdrop crates. If the MG42 machine gun would spawn naturally, would make a difference. The MG42 Machine gun uses 7.62MM rounds and has a capacity of 50 bullets. There is also a rumor that it could fire up to 250 bullets in one go, though there is still no confirmation about this claim.
Loot Truck in Sanhok 2.0
An interesting and the newest feature of the game is the Loot Truck. We all know that currently, the airplane drops the special loot crates at random places within the circle. But, in Sanhok 2.0 there is an introduction of a new loot dropping vehicle known as “Loot Truck” in PUBG. This truck is automated and drops lot crates containing essential supplies behind its path. Anyone can pick open these green loot boxes to obtain the essential items such as medical supplies, boosters, and other items.
PUBG Mobile Sanhok 2.0 Release Date
The Sanhok 2.0 Map is yet to be released for the PC version of the game, and so far there are no official announcements regarding the release of Sanhok 2.0 for mobile players. PUBG Mobile players are still waiting for the release of Erangel 2.0 which has continuously being delayed by the developers. If we look at the Sanhok map release timeline then it can be seen that it was released for PC on July 22, 2019, and, three months later on September 12, 2019, it was made available for the mobile version of the game. So, it is possible that Sanhok 2.0 update could be released by the end of this year.
PUBG Mobile Sanhok 2.0 Images
We have stated everything that we knew about Sanhok version 2.0, and all these references about the new map have been taken from the PC version of the map. If you have been playing PUBG Mobile for some time and are active in the community then you must be knowing that it is very little to no difference in the maps of PC and mobile versions of the game. The only major difference that makes the PC version of the game looks distinct is the top-notch graphics quality of the game which cannot be achieved by smartphones as of yet.
Also, Tencent might release the Sanhok 2.0 even before releasing Erangel 2.0 because the Sanhok map is much smaller in terms of size and is easier to work on if compared to other maps. And, secondly, PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0 has been causing few major issues that might take time to fix and thus might get its release postponed once again.
